Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to ensure damage prevention and timely completion of routes.
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times to ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.
- Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues, ensuring the van is clean and in good working condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and handling packages with care.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and optimize route planning.
- Complete daily logs and report any incidents or accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (Class C with air brakes may be considered for smaller vans).
- Clean driving record with no recent DUIs or major violations.
- Experience in delivery driving or commercial transport is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and minor troubleshooting.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the USA.
