Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to transport goods and materials to designated delivery points within the Atlanta metro area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service by adhering to delivery schedules and communicating professionally with clients.
- Maintain accurate digital logs and delivery paperwork, including signature capture and proof of delivery.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone apps for GPS navigation and digital logging.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
