Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials across Charlotte metropolitan area
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and traffic regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Ensure cargo security and temperature control when required
- Assist with route optimization to maximize efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Familiarity with Charlotte roadways and navigation systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred but not required
