Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-owned vans and light trucks to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any maintenance needs immediately.
- Load and unload cargo using dollies and hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging and delivery documentation (e.g., scans, paper receipts).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions professionally and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a clean driving record with a valid state driver's license.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of driving experience in a professional or commercial setting preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners, tablets, and GPS navigation systems.
- Availability: Must be available to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts required.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
