Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods across Detroit Metro area
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Handle fragile or temperature-sensitive shipments with care
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean 3-year record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Detroit Metro area geography
- Basic computer skills for route navigation and documentation
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- CDL Class B preferred but not required
