Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26-foot box van or similar delivery vehicle on assigned local routes.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight and parcels to residential and commercial customers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo using hand trucks and dollies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every stop.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork in a digital handheld device.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of local Omaha geography and traffic patterns.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must have a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
