Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport packages, equipment, and materials throughout Denver and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and route interactions
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and fuel efficiency
- Safely load/unload cargo with proper lifting techniques and equipment usage
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Denver metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and operate manual loading equipment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with GPS navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
