Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages, documents, or passengers to designated locations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation while adhering to traffic laws and delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Interact professionally with clients during pickups/drop-offs
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC metropolitan area
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Customer service-oriented with professional communication skills
