Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles (15-passenger vans or cargo vans) for local deliveries
- Plan and execute efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload packages with proper lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for each shipment
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic GPS technology proficiency
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility for early morning start times (5:00 AM)
- Physical ability to handle frequent lifting and loading/unloading
