Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for timely package and material deliveries throughout Charlotte metro area
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to ensure optimal delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal communication abilities
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic GPS navigation proficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent
