Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses across New York City.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are handled with care and placed in the designated delivery zones.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any delivery issues immediately.
- Complete daily delivery logs, route sheets, and vehicle condition reports accurately.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major infractions).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Proficient use of a smartphone for navigation, scanning, and communication.
- Basic English language skills for reading addresses and communicating with customers.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
