Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and adhere to time schedules strictly.
- Inspect vehicles before and after routes to ensure safety and proper maintenance.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling delivery exceptions with care.
- Obey all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe driving practices.
- Collect payments or obtain signatures for COD deliveries as required.
- Utilize handheld devices to update delivery status and navigation in real-time.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License (Class C or higher).
- A clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with availability for early mornings.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and change.
- Physical stamina to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
