Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial locations within Cleveland and surrounding areas.
- Ensure timely delivery of packages while adhering to strict time windows and quality standards.
- Interact professionally with customers, verifying delivery details and obtaining signatures as required.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Organize cargo in the vehicle to maximize space and ensure secure handling of all items.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to update tracking information and manage delivery logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with smartphone apps for navigation and logging.
- Physically fit and able to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong commitment to customer service and punctuality.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
