Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Loading & Unloading: Secure cargo properly and assist with loading and unloading activities at various customer locations.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, bills of lading, and electronic logging device (ELD) reports.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, handle difficult situations calmly, and ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Route Adherence: Follow designated routes and traffic laws while managing time effectively to meet delivery windows.
Qualifications
- CDL Required: Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) consistently.
- Legal Status: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background and drug screening check.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to use handheld devices for navigation.
