Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including documenting any defects or issues.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and daily driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
- Navigate delivery routes, adhering to traffic laws and strict delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Previous experience in flatbed or dry van truck driving is preferred.
- Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts as required.
- Basic computer skills for logging and paperwork.
