Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver goods and materials to designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all trips
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries in Columbus metropolitan area
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Proficient in using GPS navigation systems and delivery apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Knowledge of Columbus roadways and traffic patterns
