Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across designated routes while maintaining strict delivery schedules
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and implement all safety protocols during transit
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization and load management
- Assist with secure loading/unloading operations at client facilities
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening requirements
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of California highway regulations and local routes
