Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on assigned local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo with precision, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and logbook compliance.
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as needed.
