Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van reefers) within designated routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with DOT regulations
- Deliver freight to distribution centers and retail locations
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse teams
- Report maintenance issues and follow preventative protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Proven experience with dry van and/or reefers
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work Saturdays/Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Pass background/drug screening (company-paid)
