Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated destinations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
