Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on regional routes throughout Massachusetts and New England
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklift certification preferred
- Communicate with dispatch via Qualcomm system for real-time route updates
- Complete delivery documentation and bill of lading processing
- Uphold company safety standards and accident-free driving record
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and pass DOT physical exam
- Familiarity with Boston metro area and regional highways
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
