Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) to transport goods safely and efficiently across state lines.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs and records, including Electronic Logging Device (ELD) entries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Uphold our high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or be willing to obtain one through our training program.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) and be insurable under our corporate policy.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a commercial vehicle across state lines.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic English proficiency for clear communication.
