Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long-haul and regional routes within Texas and the surrounding regions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and ensure all cargo is loaded, secured, and documented correctly.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and identify mechanical issues requiring repair.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or eligibility to obtain one. (We provide training if you have a clean driving record!)
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
