Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently across assigned routes within the Midwest region.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying inventory and documenting any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (EOBR) records and adhere to FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding schedules and issues.
- Ensure the truck cabin and cargo area remain clean and organized at all times.
- Uphold all company policies, safety protocols, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and map reading.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and long hours on the road.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
