Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on assigned routes in and around San Jose, GA.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Keep the truck clean and organized at all times.
- Uphold the company's safety policies and driving standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) and no major traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver cargo.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.
