Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes in North Carolina and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and records, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all company policies, DOT regulations, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) available for inspection.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
