Note: While this position involves driving, we are currently hiring for regional and local routes that offer a remote-style work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring all weight distribution guidelines are met.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and daily delivery paperwork in a timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods on time and in pristine condition.
- Navigate complex routes efficiently, utilizing GPS and mapping software.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to minimize risk and liability.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar role.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and documentation.
