Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in and around New York and Chicago routes.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
