Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods within Pennsylvania and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel consumption
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and required documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Pass federal DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and regional highways
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass background check and MVR verification
