Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance needs
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route planning and real-time updates
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal load coordination
- Represent our company professionally with clients and partners
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of hazardous materials handling (Hazmat certification a plus)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- No DUI/DWI convictions within the past 5 years
