Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across Florida and Southeastern US routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Operate in all weather conditions and time-sensitive scenarios
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Passing DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Florida highway systems
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight/weekend shifts
