Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) for long-haul routes across the Midwest
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance for all vehicles
- Plan efficient routes while maintaining strict delivery timelines
- Document trip details accurately in electronic logging systems
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Load/unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Adhere to all federal/state regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of regional road networks and weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
