Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently to deliver goods.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring weight distribution and security.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Physical ability to load and unload freight and perform routine vehicle maintenance.
