Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks across regional routes with 95% on-time delivery rate
- Maintain precise electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle specialized freight including temperature-controlled cargo
- Train on new technologies including telematics and route planning software
- Mentor junior drivers on safety protocols and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain immediately
- Pass DOT physical and random drug screening program
- Proficiency in ELD systems and digital route mapping
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs for securement procedures
- Flexibility for overnight regional routes (Mon-Fri)
