Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logbooks.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to shippers and receivers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery times and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on truck type).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle long hours of sitting.
