Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods to specified destinations.
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by law.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper securing of materials.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Report any accidents or incidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and sit for extended periods.
