Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to commercial clients across New Orleans metro area
- Plan efficient daily routes using GPS navigation systems while adhering to delivery schedules
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with clean MVR
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans metropolitan area and surrounding parishes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for route navigation and documentation
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Spanish language skills a plus
