Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently manage daily routes using GPS navigation and optimize delivery schedules
- Load/unload freight with precision and maintain accurate inventory records
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and problem-solving
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and update status in real-time
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with FMCSA regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate manual transmission
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology and route navigation apps
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
