Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport goods along designated routes using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at delivery points
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and timeliness
- Assist with loading/unloading operations as required
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
