Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles on established routes throughout Colorado Springs and surrounding areas
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at delivery points
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adapt routes efficiently to accommodate delivery schedule changes
- Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Colorado Springs roadways and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for digital documentation
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends as needed
