Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver time-sensitive packages within Nashville metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Verify recipient identity and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickup/delivery interactions
- Adapt routes dynamically to ensure on-time delivery despite traffic conditions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience (van/box truck preferred)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50lbs regularly
- Proficient with smartphone navigation and delivery apps
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Nashville area roadways
- Professional appearance and communication skills
