Responsibilities
- Transport time-sensitive packages, documents, and medical supplies across Miami-Dade County
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure on-time arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures/proof of delivery
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service with professional communication
- Safely handle fragile, high-value, or temperature-sensitive shipments
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate manual transmissions
- Proficiency with smartphone apps and GPS navigation systems
- Strong time management skills and adaptability to changing priorities
- Pass background check and drug screening per company policy
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred for diverse clientele
