Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and documents to Minneapolis metro area locations using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques for fragile or temperature-sensitive items
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs/delivery points
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis streets and surrounding areas
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to/from depot (if applicable)
