Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in Long Beach, CA, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Obtain signatures and proof of delivery for all shipments.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving issues with a smile.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the delivery truck.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to minimize fuel consumption and travel time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Accurately log delivery data into the company’s tracking system using a handheld device.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or serious traffic violations).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly during the shift.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology for navigation and logging.
- Reliable transportation to and from the local warehouse.
