Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicles: Drive commercial trucks and vans on local and regional routes in and around Louisville, KY.
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and delivery points to ensure high satisfaction.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL: Must hold a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License.
- Clean Record: A clean driving record (MVR) with no recent major violations.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Documentation: Must have a valid DOT medical card and current registration.
- Experience: Previous logistics or driving experience is preferred but not always required for the right candidates.
