Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (26,000+ GVW) on multi-state routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Deliver freight to distribution centers with precision and timeliness
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for optimal routing and efficiency
- Document delivery receipts and handle cargo documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in Virginia
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Strong knowledge of Virginia roadways and DOT regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
