Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across designated routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization and delivery timelines
- Handle specialized freight (temperature-controlled, hazardous materials if certified)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Support warehouse operations when not on the road (loading/unloading assistance)
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Knowledge of Louisiana/Texas highway systems and DOT regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- HAZMAT certification preferred (not required)
