Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently across Minneapolis and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and compliance documentation
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and route adjustments
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, company policies, and local traffic laws
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain fleet safety standards
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route optimization and problem resolution
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience with verifiable references
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metro area geography and traffic patterns
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work 20-30 hours per week with availability on weekdays
- Basic computer literacy for digital log systems and route planning tools
