Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles during night shifts, adhering to DOT regulations and route schedules
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision using specialized equipment and securing protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding delivery status
- Implement defensive driving techniques and maintain flawless safety records
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries while navigating complex urban and highway routes
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle maintenance promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of El Paso, TX area and surrounding regions
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts and weekend rotations
