Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with precision using equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and pre/post-trip inspection reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage time-sensitive weekend deliveries with punctuality
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR record and ability to pass background/drug screening
- Knowledge of Philadelphia, TX area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) with possible overtime
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred
